I grew up loving math--perhaps a little too much. :) I discovered pi in about 7th grade, and, within just a few days, I had over 100 digits memorized. I found a copy of the first 100,000 digits of pi, printed them out on my computer, and pasted them up on my wall as a trim around the top. At basketball games (I love basketball, almost as much as I love math), my friends and I developed a ritual to shout "PI!" at the top of our lungs whenever the game clock was down to 3 minutes and 14 seconds left in the quarter. Once I got into high school, I joined the high school math club, which often had lunch at a Pizzeria called The Pi Pizzeria.

Don't worry, the disease just kept getting worse!
